HELP: How to remove wine stain & odor from carpet?

I was driving over to a friend's place tonight and when it happened... I had a bottle of merlot with me. The bottle was covered with dust so I placed it on the back seat floor instead of my newly conditioned leather seats. When I came to a stop at one of the intersections, the bottle hit the seat rail and shattered. The bottle of wine completely soaked my back seat floor.:(



I've wiped away most of the wine but I can't seem to get rid of the smell and stain. Please help.

I tried OXY Clean last night. The stains and the wine odor are gone but my car now smells like OXY clean. Will the smell go away go away in a day or two? Or do I need a different product to take away the OXY clean smell?

Glad the oxy clean worked. Leave your windows cracked if possible and maybe checkout some threads about air freshners like ozium etc they might help.
