Help hiding a deep scratch

I bought a used BMW that, come to find out, had some scuff marks on the rear bumper, as well as a fairly deep scratch on the front fender.

None of these marks were visible when I bought the car.

After washing it once or twice, suddenly the scuff marks became obvious.

Now today (a few years later), I noticed a deep scratch in the fender that was touched up VERY WELL with touch up paint. However, there is still a deep gouge.

Given that I never saw these before, the previous owner (a dealer) must have covered up or filled in these marks.

It's clear there is no way to polish the front fender, but what product could have been used to make it unnoticeable?

Can I fill these up somehow?

I did some research on that product and it seems like alot of folks were not happy with its filling capabilities.

Is there a product that is really just a filler?
