Help! Haze on Black paint

I need some help !! Here is my process on a black 2003 Ford Truck with 30,000 miles. My paint is in excellent shape, so much so I did not clay. Mothers Power Polish with a medium cutting pad to remove old wax...Then again with a very light cutting pad to further polish. Two coats of Mothers FX with a finishing pad about 6 hrs apart...Then two coats of Optimum Spray wax, by hand, about 12 hrs apart.

This was all done in the garage and everything looks great and shinny except out in the sun you can see a haze or shadow on the paint if the sun is just right and you are looking down the side of the truck. If just right you can see it looking straight on, if you are about a foot from it.

You would think after 2 rounds of polish I wouldn't have any problem? Could this just be Ford paint? I haven't tried AIO to correct this yet and at this point am frustrated in the time spent and the results. When I stand back the truck looks real good but I think it could look better if that shadow wasn't there. My son can't see it but I can. :angry

Any help or advise I sure would appreciate it!

Sounds like you didn't hit the panels right with the follow-up to the medium cut polishing.

If you have a "polishing pad" something in between the light-cut and final finishing I would give that a wack along with a milder polish.

Too much product used???? Not enough drying time??? Maybe the towel you used wasn't the right towel for removing. I now that some towels can be fussy. Maybe your polish wasn't worked long enough??? Try buffing with some lightly spritzed distilled water, then a final buff with another mf.
