I had titanium exhaust on a turbo integra I had, but I always washed it, so it stayed looking new! I would try a small spot as close to the flange as I could to make sure it will turn out ok... but I dont see why it wouldnt work.... just make sure you use 0000 steel wool!

Remember, Titanium is SUPER hard. The trickiest part is the heat discoloration on a titanium tip, the rainbow effect. Too much polishing will remove it.

Start with a good degreaser and get it clean. Then, see if it's just light surface junk, hit it with a rag and Mother's metal polish. Many times that will clean up an old dirty exhaust just great.

I've refinished a number of RX-7 exhausts but most of them were stainless. Best thing on those is a buffing wheel and a bench grinder, that knocks it out FAST.
