I have been working on a chart that lists the abrasive level of all of our compounds, paint cleaners, cleaner/polishes and cleaner/waxes, I’ll do my best to have it ready to post next week.
Sweet....... :xyxthumbs :bow

Will you be including #20 in the list as well as the Marine products for good measure?

I always thought #9 was milder, at least according to the abrasiveness scale posted in this forum, than DCS cleaner.

At any rate, I trust what you have to say. I want to ask you something about #9 though: how effective is it if I were to apply it by hand using a foam applicator? Will I be simply wasting me time if I were to apply by hand and using a foam instead of a terry applicator pad?

Hi Acura_RL

If your trying to remove buffer swirl, (buffer induced swirls), then working by hand with #9 isn't going to work, it will require the use of either a rotary buffer or a PC.

Hi 4DSC,

Yes, it includes #20, (all of the cleaner/waxes), and all of the Marine products, and.... our new "Super Cut Mold "Compound", our new, incredibly fast cutting compound for the Fiberglas and Composite industries.

Mike,

On a side note, maybe you can finally answer this.

Is Gold Class wax (paste or liquid) a cleaner wax?

From the multiple threads I have read here, the CSR's at Meguiar's seem to give conflicting info.

Can it be layered?

Thanks!
