S100 for white, Megs #26 for dark.

S100 for white? what about this guy?

EDIT: But on a serious note... if you really think #26 is better for dark.. I won't argue. I haven't used either

Man Drew, that pic is awesome, dripping!

As we all know, its usually 90% prep and 10% products we use, kinda.

Either 26 or S100 can be used on either. I have used S100 on lots of colors. It is a great "neutral" type wax, meaning, doesn't really mess with the color of the paint like many do. This is why I use it on lighter colors as it doesn't darken them up. I knwo many will yell at me, but I just don't like it that much at all, then again I have so many waxes to choose from.

I like the Megs #26 for darks, becasue after a day, it starts getting this glow about it that I can't describe. I actaully started a thread abotu the glow on another forum recently. Remeber, I got the #26 on whim and didn't expect much, almost didn;t use it.

I am waiting on some Collinite so I can't comment there.

All I know is, if I ran out of wax, couldn;t ever mail order any, I would buy the #26.

Drew, if you end up going different routes, let me know and I will gladly send you a sample of each, just pm is needed.

I have to agree with the #26, NXT, and S100 recommendations. #26 and NXT for darker colors, S100 on lighter and metallics.

autozone and pepboys where i live only carries the #26 in liquid and it works well. i try other things and keep going back to it. it does look different as the days go by. try nxt speed detailer on it the day after u put on #26.

Woah, better clarify, sorry... that's NOT my pic. It's from the front page of the autopia gallery. That pic belongs to scottwax. I just remembered that pic as soon as someone said S100.

And as far as my other question... what about Aquawax. What would happen spraying it on top of #26 or S100. Idk too much about what Aquawax REALLY DOES.

Ive used Aquawax over S100 and it worked great. Aquawax seems the only sealant that can be used over carnuba. I also used Aquawax over Poorboys EX and its a polymer/carnuba blend and it also worked great.

I would just use Zaino without the ZFX or Z1. You won't hardly notice the difference and it will be more durable than the OTC products too. Just put one coat on, and then follow up with a second coat the next day if desired.
