I just wanted to intoduce myself before I started asking a lot of stupid questions to all you guys
My story as a detailing enthusiast begins as I bought my previous car (350Z wich was stolen
) I started buying detailing stuff to wash it my self becouse I didn't want the paint or the car to be ruined in the autowash.
Now with my new car (E46 BMW 320i) its been horrible. First its jet black :scared . The paint was all messed up since I too delivery of it (I picked it up at night not a great idea). The next day I took it to a shop, but the result wasn't what I expected. So I complained about it at the dealer adn they sent me their detailer. He spent all day polishing and waxing the car, WITH A ROTARY!! UNDER DIRECT SUN LIGHT!!. As you can see I didn't know much about anything back then, and still don't, but I've been lurking this and other detailing sites for some time now.
I went and bought some 3M and Meg's prducts and a WaxMaster :nono , and as you can imagine the result wasn't all that good but better than before. Finally guess what, I took my car in for some warranty repairs... and they screwed up the finish yet again at the dealer:angry .
So now I just got my PC 7336sp
and I'm waiting for my pads to come in
and I'm ready for round 2 (or 3 or 4 or ....)
Thanks
Ricardo
