Hello from Maine

I just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad I found this site. I'm new to detailing and can't believe the incredible results you guys get. I've been washing and waxing cars for over forty years, and didn't relize how little I knew about what it really takes to get that"perfect shine". Well that's my goal for now, to get my red ford lightning to look like some of the pictures I've seen posted here.

What city are you located? My wife and I spent a week on vacation there a couple of years ago and really loved it.. She was ready to move to Bar Harbor.. She ate fish everyday and I ate lobster..

I live in Wells Maine, small town on the coast, just south of Porland. Yes, Bar Harbor is quite a beautiful place, one of the most popular areas in Maine.



Like your truck, lot of fun aren't they!



And yes, we have great lobster, but the water more than cold, it borders on fridgid !!!!:scared

My rest and relaxation, recharge the batteries vacation is at Wells Beach! I rent a condo on Atlantic Avenue. Sun, surf and "lobstah"...ayuh, it's a great time!

Welcome to Autopia. I'm a Maine boy myself you grew up just down the road from you in Sanford. Have been to Wells many times and still have an Aunt who lives there. Plan to be there this August. Where is your business located?

I'm retired from the shipyard and now work for a company over in New Hampshire. I live on the inland side of Wells over by Rte 4, real close to where the town lines of North Berwick, Sanford and wells all come together.
 
Welcome Jim. I feel the same way you do about knowing so little about detailing. This is a great forum. Its great to find other people who are intrested in detailing as we are. Keep up the good work guys.
