Hello everyone my name is Moises but everyone calls me Moe. I've been coming here for a long time now and decided to finally introduce myself.
I didn't realize that i was naturally into detailing. I started to realize it when I got my first car back in 2000 and i found myself cleaning it literally everyday (it was a white car) and people in my neighborhood always mentioned and joked about me cleaning. But then the tables turned a few years after when people started asking me how i kept it so shiny and spotless inside and out throughout the years and how they wanted me to do their cars.
It wasn't until the first time i got laid off that i was pushed against the wall and left to think how to make some money on the side. That's when it hit me... to start MoeDetail about 3 years ago. I didn't think I'd get this far doing cars in just the weekends, it was just suppose to be something until i started working again which happened fairly quickly at just 3 months after the lay off. But here I am 3 years later with many regular customers, a website and word of mouth clients popping up steadily. Now i am laid off again and i am wanting to make this my career now. I LOVE to make cars look new again and I'm tired of the corporate life. Besides, they say when you do something you love for a living your not really working. That's how i feel when i detail cars.
So to wrap things up, I hope to meet many new friends and detailers here. I hope to get noticed and i would love to network with others. Networking is the way to go i believe and i think its about that time that detailers worldwide need to be recognized and appreciated for the work that we do.:hifive:
