Hello from Autopia HQ!

Hello Autopians,
I just wanted to take a moment to make a formal introduction to everyone! My name is Will, I’ve worked for PBMG for just over 8 years and have been part of the Autopia team for over a year now. As for me, aside from the world of detailing, I am avid RV enthusiast and currently working on rebuilding an old fifth wheel to enjoy.

As part of my introduction I am also giving away a BLACKFIRE Wet Ice Over Fire Kit. All you need to do to is tell me a little bit about yourself so I can get to know everyone here. I’ll announce a winner on May 4[SUP]th[/SUP], now let’s get this conversation started!

Welcome to the forum Will.

I will also pass on the contest as I have that combo already on my garage shelf.

Hi Will, I`m Ken. Basically retired. And home school our autistic son. That takes up most of my time. This allows my wife to continue moving in her corporate career. Been in the army had duel mos`s 91D back then it was O.R. Specialist now what was 91 series is the 68 series for medical mos`s, and 19D. Have a BA in mechanical engineering. Was ASE master certified back in the early 90`s. Taken numerous other courses throughout the years at various colleges. Cars having always been a passion, it only made sense to delve deeper into detailing.

Hi Will. Pleasure to meet you. Ray here. I am a Sr. Project Manager/ IT Project Manager for a large Telecommunication company (Starts with a C and ends with a omcast) I`ve got 2 little runts with 2 legs and 3 little runts with 4 legs that keep me busy. Love cars and detailing them (of course) and run a part-time business detailing out of my garage. Love the forum and learning and interacting with everyone here.

Feel free to exclude me from the competition as I already have this combo as well!

Welcome to the forum from central TX.

I`ll play the contest but not for me, I have the kit but I`d donate this to a fathers` day car club show silent auction coming up this summer if I win. So you could say I`m playing for charity. :)

Since you asked for a little info- most people know me on here but I am a weekend warrior/ Texas wax waster, will never eat BBQ in west palm beach, and possibly banned from Ruth`s Chris in West Palm (I blame it on Ron).
Oh and I work for a large insurance company, one who has the character who rhymes with "Slow".

Hi Will, good to have you.
"Just" an enthusiast here, a "wax addict" obviously, and a reluctant but happy user of sealants under wax.
I work on my own cars, family, friends, and once in a blue moon a "paid" job, heavy on the quotations there. B)

Hi Will, I’m Mark. You may or may not be aware of this but I’ve been a member/moderator on the forum under it’s various names for almost 14 years now. I try to help keep the peace on the forum. Glad to have you here with us.

Welcome Will! Glad to have you aboard and keep the giveaways coming.

I’m Bob and I’m a disabled Vet. I was a Quartermaster Officer in the Army for 13 years. I love the Atlanta Braves and the Falcons and try to never miss a game. I’m married and have a 17 year old son at home. Of course my favorite hobby is detailing and pretty much anything having to do with cars.

Hey Will, I met you at Detail Fest with Aaryn from AGO. It was good meeting you and talking with ya. Good to see ya on here. I’ll also pass on the products as I’ve had em for a while and will likely never use em all up.

Hi Will! I`m Dean. Been a member here for close to 6 years. Found this site when I was looking on how to`s to keep my current ride clean and shiny. I still work and in my off time I enjoy the shooting sports and just plain relaxing. I don`t detail my ride these days as much as it needs it. I`m not as active in the forums as I once was but still check in and see what new posts have been added and any old ones I participated in.

Hey hey..
Mary B. Here, happen to be in love with detailing.
I know my vehicles would be a swirly mess without Autopia. The forum is my favorite, but I do tend to get caught up in my night work .
I maintain a 50 million $ Convention center at night.
This pic. is of just some of my machines, one on the right is a riding Vacuum and on the left is a riding Extractor.
Thanks for the BF wax kit offer , that I`ll pass on .
I think I ahhh have a few detail supplies to last me :)

Hey Will, Great to have you. Obviously my name is Dave. Retired at a very young age. I`m a hobbiest, well started out that way, just finished two cars this week and have four more waiting. I think I`ve had that combo in my cart 10 times over the years, just never pulled the trigger on it. Looking for a new look now that show season is here.

Hi Will welcome,
My name is Ken and I am retired military, like others I am a weekend warrior. Hopefully between you and Liz you can bring back some of the spark back to this forum and maybe an updated forum page :)
