Wow, i have not been around in a while. I have been busy with all the crap I put off during the detail months. I have not touched a car in about a month. I can live with the snow, even some ice, but when the weather feels like it is -20, NO WAY.



So now I will be re-doing my bathrooms & livingroom. I can't wait to start up again. I get about 5 calls a day from people that want to have cars done, but not in this weather. Most of them tell me they will wait for me, glad to know I have such great customers.

Tell me about the weather! We're basically neighbors and we're expecting another 6 inches of snow by Monday morning :mad:



I actually took my car to the automatic car wash because it was CAKED in salt! :scared They were going to take a broom to the car to remove the salt. I said "Whoa!! No Way Jose!" I made them power wash it first.
 
I thought I had it bad when I was detailing in high 20 degree weather! Y'all have just been getting creamed by these cold fronts....but then again, keeping the cold air up north has given us the best winter since 1999.
 
We got a call from my in laws this morning. They brought their 5th wheel camper down to Florida for a few months and said the temperature where they are was in the mid 50's. They are in shorts, the "natives" are bundled like it's below zero! LOL :D
 
The best thing about winter is traveling to the Caribbean to get away from it all! Mexico could be our next stop.

NY detailer, you need to grab the wife and do a little bathroom towel renovations in Aruba to get rejuvenated for the spring rush.
