Will start on it 1st thing in the morning. Full interior and exterior wash/one-step.

Thread will be updated tomorrow....

Can't wait. Finally a change of pace. Perfect timing as well, since the weather was going to be horrible tomorrow. I planned on a day off, but since this will be inside, I couldn't help but jump all over it.

Congrats on landing this job Tex Star :bigups

I saw a med-vac helicopter that was on display here for the public to view this past summer. Man, that thing was a wreck, scraped up, faded out, dirty windows, you name it :wow:

It bothered me so bad I considered offering my services for free as they do alot of good work in are area....After I thought about it more, my desire to volunteer faded. Besides, thy are a For Profit company and so am I :rockon

Look forward to your after pics :inspector:

Well, finished up the helicopter.
Interior was pretty straight forward. Leather cleaning and conditioning. Carpet shampooing and so on....
Exterior was polished with Menz. SIP and Spray waxed. I was going to do a quick one step, but thought it would look better if I did a polish on it.

Good news, I brought my camera
Bad News, I forgot the memory card at home. :(
Worse news, I was still able to only take 3 pics, but cannot download them since I cannot find my cord.

The gentleman took tons of pics, and said he will email them to me. He even got me polishing it, well, holding up a buffer to it. Hope he does, because I want them for the website.......

I started a little after 9, I would say a little closer to 9:30 and finished up around 4. I had a friend (another mobile detailer, Dust to Glory) show up at 1 to help with the polishing.

Well, here are the only pics I have at the moment. (all via phone, so sorry for the quality. I have yet to contact the owner about sending my the pics he took).

Nothing special on the outside.
It's wasn't even dusty, so I just QD'd it. Ran over it with SIP and then just spray waxed it. It just needed to be presentable. The owner is a broker, buys and sells worldwide. He was flying it to a Helicopter type show/event in Houston. SIP made short work of the swirls. I did notice that is was repainted as well.....
The tail end was a PITA for sure.....

Nope, no rides...... Would be nice. I may offer to wash and wax his other chopper for a ride....
