Great work Chad!
Had you considered using a more aggressive clay?
Great work Chad! C6's in white are STUNNING and that thing looks killer. I have been there and done that on a overspray removal (on a Yellow C5), and claying for 6 hours can test all limits of patience.
David Fermani actually recommended I try 4000 grit latex backed sand paper in the future (which I did) and it worked much much better, faster, and didn't cause significantly more marring then using aggressive clay.
Great job!
Guys, I have a few (maybe 20) specs of rail dust on one of my cars. I've clay'd, of course, to no avail. Granted, I don't have any aggressive clay; just the mild Sonus and CG stuff and the bar of PolyClay I won a couple of weeks ago. What would you suggest as a plan of attack? I'm thinking of giving the PolyClay a shot and then moving on to the more aggressive Megs clay. Or, is the 3M clay the way to go? Anything else I should consider doing?
I would try some of the Meguiars Aggresive clay. The only reason I used 3M was because I could find it locally and didn't have time to order the Meguiars stuff and have it in time.
Be sure to change the direction you clay in a few times...that really seemed to help with a lot of the hard to remove specs on this car.
