i was just wondering if any of you guys used this??? http://www.brilexsolutions.com/heavy_metal.php if so what are your opinions on it??? i have non-clear coated polished aluminum wheels. also what tire shine do you guys recomend for high gloss, i was looking into poorboys bold and bright and was just wondering how you guys liked it???

thanks for any info

I have never heard of it, seems a little expensive to me. I have had great results with Mothers all metal polish and billet polish. Meguiars NXT polysh might be worth a try as well and it is under $10. However you could give it a try and do a product review for us! :dancin

I considered them for a while but then English Custom Polishes started being sold so I got the entire line. I haven't used them yet. They are supposed to be incredible metal polishes.

i went ahead and ordered some of the blue and green. i currently use California Customs purple metal polish. i just like to try new things. here's a pic of my wheels after using the purple metal polish. i highly recomend it and i did all of my wheels in like 15 minutes.

I have used it was available threw Les Swabs locally........I used the red to start because I was trying to cut heavy oxidization on unpolished aluminum, then worked to the other two colors......I found that it worked good but was a bit expensive........I did find that you had to put heat to it, I used my rotary buffer with a hard cotton bob on it.........When I ran out I brought Zephyr metal polish...Dwayne has it threw PAC....its the best metal polish that I have used to date for quality of product and cost.

I have used and like the Heavy metal polishes alot. The polishes are easy to use and little goes looong way. I have used all three polishes by hand and machine and the polishes are are easy to use either way. Though I will admit the red polishes does work faster and you will get more cut if you a machine. Becareful with the red polish as the red does have the ability to scare the metal surface, so only use if necessary. The green works well by hand or machine and leaves a nice shiny, reflective surface, but follwed by the blue polish you will see an improvement from that point. After the metal surface has been polished, use a car wash soap and water to clean and maintain the shine with the Blue polish or Zephyr's Pro 40 metal polish. I could tell you more about Zephyr, but that is a whole other thread.

One more thing remember to the polishes shake well before using and during use.

Jimbo,
Are your wheels Eagle alloys?

Eric

My wheels are Mickey Thompson Classic 2's. thanks for the info and this site is very addictive. so far today just from reading on here, i have ordered heavy metal polish(blue and green) poorboys spray and gloss, blue natty's wax, and the bug squash.

Jimbo since you have the checkbok out why not order some Zephyr pro 40 to try. Zephyr is really good stuff.

Beemerboy,
Does PAC still sell the Zephyr polish as I cannot find it on the PAC site.

Eric
