I recivied a call from a guy wanting me to give him a quote on his herase and limo. What I was wondering was how much do people normally charge for them? And to compare what do you charge for a full size car? I haven't seen these yet. I hope to check them out today. Thanks for you help.

I don't even know if I can look at them today. I just had a black Magnum come in that is going in a car show tomorrow and a XUV. I love being busy. :D

I've wondered about pricing a limo as well. There are a couple limo services in town and I know one doesn't have a good detailer by the looks of the one I rode in.

I have done work with limo companies, none of th ejobs were ever under $300, and i never would touch the interior of the cars. They were exterior only jobs. The **** that goes on in limos, there is no way that i am cleaning it!! The exterior is easy though, it is alot of glas, and sometimes alot of canvas (Amazing Roll Off from a marine store). Oher than that, the painted surfaces are just longer, and it takes a little more time and product

Well these are for a funeral home so I don't think anything crazy goes on in them.

I realized that, i was just giving reason to why my price was so low... cleaning the inside of a hearse... hmmm

there was someone on here that did limos and hearses.. can't for the life of me remember who...

Red Car Guy... he works in the funeral industry!

Well I took a look at them today. The hearse isn't bad at all. The paint is ok. Some scratches and a lot of swirls. I think I can make that look real nice. The limo  is bad. It was inside with poor light so its was hard to get a real good look at it. From what I could see it has some scratches (no it has a lot) on the hood but they are kind of hiding behind all of the oxidization. That car made my arms hurt just looking at it. The inside wasn't bad at all. The carpet needs some work but other then that it didn't look bad at all. I gave him my price and I'm think it might have been a little higher then he thought. He said he will think about it and get back to me. I gave a quote to a woman that own the other limo there. Her's would be a little easier. It would be cool to do those two limos because they are kept inside so once they are done they might say nice for a while if they take care of them. I'll put up pictures tomorrow. If forgot to bring the pics home from the shop.

:) :) :)

If you can set up a continuing agreement, the regular wash/wax is a breeze... Getting past the First 'recon' is the issue.

Glad to hear that things are going so well.
