Headin' up north (UK Only)

If this is in the wrong place then sorry in advance!



I'm headinh up north to see some clients next week and will be staying overnight on the 5 February at Cleckheaton Travel Inn.



Think there's a few autopians up that way so if you'd like to meet up and talk cars & stuff then it'd be great to meet you. Here's a link to the Travel Inn

I'll be there from about 8pm onwards (driving up from Hants to Ripon then to Northumberland then back to Bradford for a meeting next day in Halifax)

cleackheaton? sounds very familiar will have to check where abouts it is. please dont expecting anything NEAR clean if i can make the day as the snow is driving me up the wall lately!
 
That's OK - by the time I get there I'll have covered something like 450 miles so I doubt my car will be concours either!

Will you be wearing a white rose (Yorkshire :D) so we recognise you?? ;)
 
Travel Inn? Are you pocketing the extra expenses or do you work for a tight company:)



Here in Lancashire, Cleckheaton & district is known as Cleckhuddersfax is that true in Yorkie land?
 
man i never heard of that name :D i think because there are 3 towns in that area called Cleckheaton, Huddersfield and Halifax so people made it up!
 
Gents - my Dad was born & bred in Blackpool - does that mean I need my passport?! If I wear I white rose I may never be welcome at my parents again....hehe!



Company agents will actually book posh hotels which cost a fortune when all I really want is a bed for the night and something to eat. Being a rep ain't all it's cracked up to be, trust me!



Steven, I'm passing through Northumberland I'm afraid - I have a 3pm appt in Prudhoe then straight back down to Yorkshire.
