I have been using my DA a lot more recently b/c i cannot working inside anymore

i have the megs MF correcting and finishing polish with the MF pads then topping with opti seal

the system has given me great results

however i am always looking for more

would the HD uno system with the megs MF pad and the HD uno finishing pad achieve signficatly better results?

is it worth buying the new polish and pads or stick with what i have and get a carnuba to put on top of the opti seal?

this is on a black acura TL

thanks for any input i did search but did not find and side by side comparisions

Your best bet is to purchase UNO and do a comparison, then determine which process gave you the best results on the finish you worked on.

I can tell you the Meguiar's MF pads are awesome. I'd bet you will see better results with UNO and MF pads. JMHO

I love the MF pads for any compound or polish I've used since swapping over, but I am not particularly in love with using them for LSP application. I like the idea that there is less product waste due to no absorption into the pad, but I'm almost inclined to say a regular thick nap MF surface (like that on a quality plush mf towel) would be better over the "fingers". I think for the picky LSP's that play nicest with extremely thin layers, foam flat pads will be best for the time being. Plus, it gives me more polishing discs since I've had 2 and a half MF pads blow out so far (one is going on it's last leg...).

I wouldn't say UNO would give "better" results over D300 or M105. What UNO does give is a product that is a little easier to work with, just my opinion. I have all 3 and use all 3, lately though I have been reaching more for UNO becuase it is just plain easy to work with.

just ordered some uno with the recommended DA pad

should i use the mess MF instead?

how is it on the rotary compared to the DA i can use either just prefer the DA b/c it is so much easier to work with

I have used both HD UNO and M305 via Megs MF pads and the results depend on the paint. Both are excellent and cheap enough that you can have both in your arsenal.

just got the uno in today

for my black honda/acura paint it finishes down better than d300 did (left micro marring) i am going to finish it down with a finishing pad tomorrow

The MF pads work great with D300/301, #105/205 and Optimum OHP/OHC so I see any reason they wouldn't also work well with UNO.

Yep. Just remember Uno is even less(once primed) than D300 and 105. I think once the initial prime(which I think should be even lighter than many people are doing it, youll end up using even less product.
