HD Lineup

I keep reading a lot of reviews on the HD products and have ended up acquiring several of the products. Depending on the pads I see people use adn reply's, I just wanted to make sure I was understanding them...



I have:

HD Uno (v4), Polish, Speed, Cut

Cut = Meg's 105. Used with a orange/yellow pad or MF a lot. Basically the heavy cutter

Polish = Close to 205. Kind of a final polish to clean up marring/swirls.

HD Speed = between HD Cut and Polish. Kind of an all in one. Have seen it used in a 2-step: MF for cutting power, then flip over to a black pad and using the same product, can finish.



HD Uno: This is what I am stuck on. Where does it fall in the lineup?
 
HD speed is an all in one, an amalgamation of HD Polish, HD Poxy and a cleaner of some sort. Very light on cleaning ability though.



No clue what Uno is. I have both Speed and Polish. HD Polish cuts less than 205 but finishes better. Very nice. Speed looks great, smells great, works well, but doesn't last very long. For times when you don't have time for a polish then seal - an all in one product.
 
Cut = most aggressive

UNO = medium aggressive but finishes down well

Polish = polish level cut, but pad dependent so it can have some bite and can act as a finishing polish

Speed = lower level of cut than Polish as it is a combination of Polish and POXY, but also can have some bite to it depending on pad choice--also, high gloss level when used as a finishing polish on a black pad



This is my understanding of the HD line-up--perhaps David or Thomas could chime in.

Personally, and from being an avid 85RD user for years, I would say hands down HD Speed (and HD Polish) is much easier/faster to use and will also produce superior results. Keep in mind that HD uses non-diminishing abrasives in their polishing compounds. 2-3 passes usually is all that is needed to produce optimal results. Not 10-15 passes like many of the Menzerna products.
