Hazing after wax removal

I used Nattys Blue on my bro's black car and after it hazed over I buffed it off with a MF. Ater I was finished I moved it into merciless sunlight and saw some pretty hard to remove hazing (hey, I'm still a beginner). It could be because I applied too much wax but the pad was getting friction when I was trying to apply it real thing so I used more wax. I tried ONR QD but no avail. I have Meg's #34 on hand...but they are pretty much the same thing in essence. The hazing would probably come off with polish but I don't wanna remove the LSP. Any ideas?
 
did you apply the wax in the hot sun?

does the hazing move around when you look at it at different angles?

like a hologram?
 
imo, id use a QD or distilled water sprayed..maybe it will help it even out..i did the same thing a few weeks ago and it evened itself out...
 
Did you put the wax on a little thick? Are you sure it was ready to come off when you removed it? I'd try rewashing the car, and see if that helps. If not, hit it with some AIO and either try Natty's again, or choose a different LSP. HTH
 
I did apply the wax in the sun..it's a poorboys product though, I thought they were designed for the sun. And I did apply it somewhat heavy, only because the foam pad was creating a lot of friction without the barrier of wax between the pad and paint. They are more like smears, I wouldn't go as far as to say they are holograms.
 
Sounds like you are suffering from wax overdose.

Wax should be applied in several LIGHT coats. The lighter, the better. Really.

So you filled the light scratches and swirls with a white highlighter.

Time for a machine.

Wash with Dawn dishwashing detergent.

Clay bar with quick detailer as lubricant.

Light cutting pad and rubbing compound.

Buffing pad and swirl remover.

Buffing pad and glaze.

Hand wax. LIGHTLY. Next two times you wash, you will wax again. That's 3 light coats. Nice.

Did I leave anything out?

Oh, tape your trim and cover your engine bay with a sheet and hide your car keys so you don't wrap the sheet around your belt when you accidentally start the car to move it out of the sun.
