Having trouble picking LSP for friends car...

I will be doing a full paint correction job with some wet sanding for one of my good friends in a couple weeks. His car is a 98 Honda Prelude in Nordic Mist (silver). This car is garage kept at all times and does not see rain. It is his baby. He takes very good care of it, I just need to remove some problem areas from the previous owner, then will polish it to really bring out some heavy gloss.

I am not sure which LSP I want to use in my arsenal. He is looking for maximum gloss/shine. Durability is not a concern. Just wondering what you would chose given these choices.

BFWD

HD Poxy

Collinite 845IW

FK1000p

Natty's Red

Wolfgang DGPS 3.0

Victoria concours red wax

Opti-Seal

I was planning on first putting a layer of sealant down, then topping with a 'nuba. Not sure if this would be the best idea since his color is a very bright silver. I'm worried that a carnuba might "dull" the overall look. Just looking for feedback on what you guys would pick. Looking for maximum gloss. The owner has OCW and Duragloss Aquawax to use after ONR washes to freshen up the gloss. Thanks everyone!

I hear good things about bfwd but i think people preferred it on darker cars the fk is a PITA to do right--but iirc it makes bright colors pop--so i'd go fk1000p 2 coats over a 2 week span and then 845 for maintenance topper

Actually all my LSP's are very easy to work with. Some may be easier than others, but none of them are difficult to work with. FK1000p is very easy on/off when applied correctly, meaning very thin coats. Thanks for the suggestion, I have considered that combo myself!

Yep, FK1000P...just consider the durability and protection to be added bonuses. I would *NOT* top it with the 845, especially on silver. IMO it'd diminish the look and add nothing positive. Yeah, I like/use/recommend Collinite (including 845), but silver done with FK1000P looks great enough that I wouldn't want to alter it any.

Well everyone knows I am going to say HD Poxy.... Then I would take a hard look to see if you want to top it. IMHO the Victoria concours red wax might just be the right wax for looks.

Out of the ones you have listed.-- Optiseal, 2 coats. Natty's Red & Blue are like tossing on grease to me. but natty's Blue was quite the rave here when I first joined autopia.
