have you noticed no one gushes over optiseal?

I still cannot see any difference between the two in looks. The differences for me is that OS streaks no matter what I do. IMO CS durability far surpasses OS. Just my observations.

In two months you can already determine durability? I used both side by side on the same vehicle and at the two month point both seemed to be performing equally with regards to durability.

Neither product streaks if you apply them correctly. Lightly spritz a foam hand pad and work gently into the paint. If either CS or OS takes more than 20-30 seconds to dry, you are using too much. If either streaks, you used too much or didn't completely remove the excess polish prior to application.

today, i did my black acura with CG ez~creme and opti-seal(i was tired to use other sealant or wax) then buff OS with OCW after 25 mins of application. i couldn't believe the result! i like it much more than CG 5050 X3 then AW!!!

Out only 2 months . Yeah I know that's what got my attention. I did a side by side comparision on the roof of my wifes van. I did 1/2 the roof with ZAIO/CS and the other with PS/OS ( which by the way was applied 4 weeks after CS). The CS side still has super tight beads and stays a lot cleaner than the PS/OS side wich has very loose beads and retains dirt and such.

This could all be relative to areas we live in. I am glad your having better results down in FL.

My answer to only 2 months. I also believe that pictures do not tell the whole story as the can be altered. JMO

:nixweiss Side by side, I saw no noticable difference in beading or slickness and it has been raining pretty much non-stop the last two months here so I'd say both products seem to offer pretty good protection. Looks are completely subjective so if durability is similar, I go with what to me is the best look.

:down I have to say that neither CS or OS were good products for my rubber/plastic trim. Dulled the shine... I'll stick with 303 or another product for that.

I overapplied 2 coats of OS.. Left some streaks. All I had to do was slightly buff with a damp MF, hazing gone, nice shine !

I'll never know about durability. I am always trying different products, weekly..
