Have you ever owned a sleeper?

Very impressive^^^420hp for a rice burner that can be driven on the street certainally qualifies as a sleeper. I know those Mustang/Camaro/Challenger Boys are doing some jaw dropping when you launch :driving:

BTW, That body style is my favorite, it still to this day has a classier body style then most of whats out there now :drool5:

What kinda reaction times are you getting off the tree? Best? Worst? Average? What are your RPM'S at LAUNCH? :driving:

Thanks for the compliments. I love my car and for a Japanese 80's car, think it looks fantastic.
Best reaction time was right near perfect. .001 or something. Average around a .7
My best run, the one posted about above was a .794
Rpm's at launch are around 2k, which gives my 60ft a slower time, because it takes a bit longer to make boost, but anything higher than that and it turns into a smoke show.

I am really interested in this car also could you give us all the info you can, starting from where you are, when you got it, did it look at good as it does when you got it, blower/turbo?, nox?, for me no detail would be too small

I believe I could be seen in this car....

I am in Vancouver Wa, I bought the car two years ago from Seattle. It had 90,000 miles on it when I purchased it, and had the original motor, which is a 5mge, and approximately 150rwhp. It was very clean, but I have done a lot of detail and babying the car since i got it. No blower, it has the stock twin turbo's on the stock engine which is a 2jzgte out of a 93-98 Toyota supra. To do the swap cost me about $5000 dollars. The car originally cost me $5000 dollars, which is a pretty high price for these cars, but was worth it to me for the flawless paint and interior. I don't run nitrous, uh, Can't think of anything else, lmk if you have any other questions.

Ok, since I started this thread -I- get to declare the top dog, that member with the sleepiest sleeper BUT to be fair I would like to see more/or even one pictures from David, Flash, Husker, Rasky, Zim, Jokeman, Nappers. It doesn't still have to be in your stable, if you got the picture get it on here, truck sleepers are always neat so I hope that Nappers can post his son's Dodge and Jokeman, the engine is cool so I bet the truck it went into is just as clean..

Right now its not. Its been a about 2 years since I have completely buffed it out. Been too busy with getting married and life and all that stuff. Truck doesn't look bad for 170k miles.

Most recent picture.

My first Evo was a RS - no power accessories, no ABS, and most importantly no wing. Even though it was bright red, the car was invisible. Almost no one recognized it for what it was, including the local gendarmes.
