Have We Overwhelmed ClearKote?

BOTH packages arrived this afternoon. I hope that the rest of you get yours too. Now the acid test - do the products really work? I'm concerned about the Moose Wax. The brown stuff seems to be floculated. I hope that this is normal. (It's about 24 degrees outside)

Moose wax seperates when it sits. It almost looks like it is suspended in oil at times. That is normal. Once you shake it up, it will be fine.

About the moose wax, I was having a problem with the liquid coming out instead of the wax. I called everett and he told me to pour out some of the liquid until it mixed the way it should and to add the liquid back in as the wax is used up. It help out wonderfully by doing this.

Everette (sp) was very helpful to me while we spoke on the phone...He explained the lack of labels and wasnt able to ship to buyers because of this. Unless your Scottwax, or another frequent purchaser, who has used the products b4, i could understand why he would have done that. Nothing like trying something the first time, without knowing why the product is so distortedly seperated, and knowing its suppose to ! The simple cure being, "shake well before use"....Clearkotes explanation was accurate, and my shipment was located promptly, somewhere in freeking Tuscon Az !! But its on its way here, maybe in time for my weekend warrior detailing.....So for those of us who havent recieved our orders, hang in there, if you ordered around the 20th or so, of Feb, or beforehand, its on its way !!!! I will let the product speak for itself here shortly....

I just got off the phone with Everett himself. He is a wonderful guy. We had a great discussion about the products and i am looking forward to receiving my order. It sounds like they had several things hit them all at once between the storm, the label problem and the fact that they are touring shows selling their product.

I ordered the Millenium package with a pint of Vanilla Moose and a pint of Moose wax substituted for the quart of Moose Wax. All that is shipped to me for $8.00 via UPS. If anyone knows how much UPS is charging these days due to fuel prices, you'll understand how cheap this really is.

My father's new to him maroon 2000 Silverado will be the trial vehicle for this stuff. I can't wait.

I have not tried MOOSE WAX yet, but I am going to test it soon. What you are seeing is not uncommon. The product is most likely composed of a petroleum distillate solvent (carrier), water, an oil for shine, and wax. We all know that oil and water don't mix and will separate in time. More advanced formulations will use an emulsifier to aid in this. A common one is morpholine, but it depends on what exactly is in the mixture.

Just shake well before each application, you should be ok..........

I've ordered some VMW, MW and QD last week and received and email saying it was shipped on last Wednesday.

Today I received a call concernig the customs as it's already here, so not bad if I receive it next week, living in Portugal. :xyxthumbs

I've talked to Everett also. He is one of the most gracious and humble people I have talked to. He is also very pleased that people like his products so much.

Please post your results when you use it. As a fellow Zaino user, I would be EXTREMELY interested in how it stacks up against Clearkote stuff.
