Have my new PC, question before I spend more $$

I have the new PC 7424 from Coastal - with the bonus kit. Good deal.:D I have done a search and found overwhelmingly that CMA and Meguiars pads are the ones to go with. Before I get them - is it ok to use the one that comes with the PC - or should I use it on the beater? I found one post that said it wasn't the best.

It just won't do very much in terms of cutting. It won't harm your finish if you use it. It just that the CMA/Meguiar's pads are much higher in quality and work much better.

The screw on white pad that came with my PC 7336 from Lowe's works fine for me. I used it with Meguiar's #9 the day I bought it.

I have since purchased a Meguiar's backing plate and some Meguiar's pads. Nice system.

I still use the white pad that came with the PC for #9 with no problems whatsoever.
