Have I entered the abyss of no return

So I just got a new IPhone7 and got the gorilla glass and gloss black case, And am thinking of putting glass coating on glass protector and then hit the case with essence and then gloss coat.

What is all your thoughts?

As long as the glass coating doesn`t screw up the operation of the digitizer or finger-print reader it should be safe.

Gloss black case? aftermarket right? not that gloss 3000 finish aluminum back in jet black finish right?

the glass will be fine with any coating. remember... you can slap an extra layer of glass on it and still have it work just fine.

Yes aftermarket case cause they didn`t have the gloss black in 32g

Gloss coated my last iphone 6s, and it made the screen laggy-IMHO. I would skip it. I go the Apple installed glass screen protector on my new IP7 and it rocks.

I have the silicone case on my iphone7 and its great, simple glass screen protector as well.

That isn`t true at all. The screen protectors work because they have been designed for and tested with touchscreens.

Capacitive touchscreens (the type used on the iPhone) can be very picky. My iPhone 6 has trouble recognizing touch accurately and the fingerprint reader doesn`t recognize my fingers at all if I wash my hands and don`t dry them completely -- anything that changes the conductivity of the interface can screw things up.

I have PBL glass coating on my spigen glass screen protector. Makes for super easy cleaning. Haven`t noticed any adverse effects at all
