Has anyone used Armor All Wash and Wax?

I picked this up a while back because it was buy one get one free. It seems to work pretty well, but I was wondering what everyone else thinks about it.

No, but I am a fan of wash and waxes, so long as you apply them in their concentrate form. I'm curious how this works out for you.

Well, Ive been using it for a while now and it works pretty well. I just curious to see if anyone else had any experience with this.

if you're referring to this, i used it and did not care for it at all. there are better washes i've used that are cheaper in price (like the EO1 car wash), and i definitely will not be buying it again...

Then you are just missing out on some quality products that are very affordable and available OTC.

agreed! this is just about the only AA product i've used that i didn't care for. love the AA tire foam & tire gel! :2thumbs:

armor all was sued a few years back on there products and lost the suit because of the damage it did to peoples cars.you don't want a product with water or alcohol as a base.they evaporate when they hit the air and dry out.that results in things turning white and other colors.it also cracks the dashboards and other intieror parts.thats why i don't ever use it.also it has ties to granatelli and that is trouble in itself.his parts are bad news.

Do you have links to that info?

Also, I'm pretty sure just about every detailing product we use has either alcohol, water, petroleum, or silicone bases.

frdfrst, you are obviously way too biased against Armor All products. While the products like these wash&wax's may not work well, they have other products that are affordable and quite usable. The tire foam immediately comes to mind.

Out of curiosity, how do you guys determine if a W&W works well? I appreciated mine but applied it in probably a dissimilar manner (strait concentrate on wash mit) which REALLY made a difference (though that concentration of any wash or wax may have some difference).

i know from past experince with there products.as far as law suit.it was a while back that it happened.i don't use or suggest people to use something i would't use myself.i gave my opion on what i know and used.you do what you want.thats what choice is about.knuff said!

been using AA products for years with no probs, it's just personal preference like anything else these days...
