Has anyone tried that Ultima Elastrofoam Paint cleanser yet?

I'm looking into getting one, but it seems there are some questionable reviews on it. Just want to see what your thoughts were on it...

I read that, but at the bottom a few people were having problems with it. Just wondering if anyone uses it regularly on vehicles or if I should just stick to clay...

There are several people using the Magna-Sponge on a regular basis; I was using it for a while but never was really impressed with its lack of ability to contour to curves and body lines.

Frankly if you don't already have one, I'd skip it and go for the Speedy Surface Prep Towel instead if for no other reason than the improved surface conformability.

I have the elastrofoam block and the Ultima lube for it. I used it 1 time on my black infiniti and it marred the soft finish more that a clay. I never tried it again. I now have a white car (and alot more free time) and I stuck with Clay!

i mostly do daily drivers and semi beaters. i use the foam all the time since i follow up with a polish. dont use it on the nicer paints though. it sure saves time.
