has anyone scratch tested a megs mf towel?

ive been noticing my car gets swirled up despite my keen cleaning routine, so i decided i need to investigate



ive heard of people doing a scratch test on a new cd ..so out i went and wiped all my applicators, mf's , and drying tools over a new cd.....the worst offender was the megs supreme shine mf towel, which id been using as best, they look alot nicer than my other ones



just wondered if anyone else had issues with them? :nixweiss

From what I've read so far and tested, I found the best way was the drying techqniue in the hall of fame forum. Taking a hose with no nozzle and let it free flow, then blot (sp?) drying with a terry towel or microfiber. I use a viking drying towel to blot dry, then I go over with the waffle weave (blotting as well) to pick up anything I've missed.



Edit: Oh yeah the ww I have is a meguiars as well.
 
I have had no issues with the Megs Drying Magnet or the Supreme Shine MF towel. Both work great. No marring issues that I can see.
 
I love the Supreme Shines. They're big, soft, and just the right nap for both QD duty and polish removal, plus I can buy them locally.
 
I have 4 megs water magnet (WW) towels. Got lucky one day and found them on sale at O'Reily's a few months ago for $5. Works great!
