Has anyone ever tried layering Souveran over Collinite?

I mean, for that deep, deep non-synthetic look, but with Collinite durability?

If you did so, would you use Collinite 915, or 476s? Why? (I can think of good reasons for each, with different benefits.)

Would you think that a different product would make a better, more durable base? Would you think that there would be a sacrifice of depth with a polymer?

What I'm thinking is, this combination will give Collinite durability and shine, with Souv's depth.

But, as usual, I've been wrong before, and I'l be wrong again. If no one's tried it, I will, and I'll report back.

Not Souveran But put :

Blitz over Collinite 915

P21s over Collinite 915

P21s and Blitz over Collinite 915

And many other waxes and polymers.

To tell you the truth I don't know if it will buy you anything except hair loss, complication, and expense.

I feel you will get mostly the look of your top coat and if you wax a much as Autopians usually do [ at least once a month ] then durability is a mute point anyways.

I would just go with the look you like the best. They each have their own unique look.

I was thinking ahead to the winter, when opportunities to wash and wax are fewer, due to no heated garage. I used NuFinish last year, with no ill effects, but as one learns one expects more.
