New face over here, been lurking for a few days and been reading everything, now my brain hurts....I have been using Zaino on my White 4Runner and like it alot but Im out and want to try something better or differant.....

I just bought me an 04 RX330 in millinium silver and want to shine here up:D

I kind of inbetween the Menzema kit for 69 bucks AND.......

As I have been reading more it seems like the combo of AIO with 4*UPP is the hot ticket too??

What about the Menzema FPII and the UPP combo? I NEVER here anything about the 4*UPC is it not any good or is the AIO/FPII better.

What would give me the ultimate combo of shine/durability as I live in Alaska and seem to have nice LONG cold snowy winters---Need to get the protection on here before the snow hite which is only a month or 2 away:xyxthumbs

Also who makes the BNB tire shine?? I like my tires nice and shiney without it all flying off.....

:welcome

and congrats with the new ride:xyxthumbs

~ One man’s opinion / observations ~

A silver paint, a harsh winter for me would= Klasse AIO x2, SG x3

(and for our 'harsh' Florida winters I'd top it with Souveran)

~Hope this helps~

Booyah- Welcome to Autopia!

Much as I love UPP on my S8, for durability you just can't beat Klasse SG. I put six coats on our silver MPV last year (last coat was in August of '03). It's still holding up pretty well over a year later. Our winters aren't as severe as yours, but this is a family beater that gets used pretty hard. With winter coming on, I'd go with the Klasse twins if I were you. Next spring you can try the UPP and see what you think.

Oh, and FPII and the 4-Star paint cleaner are a little different, the FPII is sorta a general-purpose (*very mildly*) abrasive polish. The UPC is good, but it's not gonna correct as many (very) minor defects as the FPII would. Either one would be fine before UPP or you could even use them both. You could also use the FPII before the Klasse twins.
