Happy Birthday Zoom Zoom

I'm about to buy a gallon size of EF Hi Intensity to clean my tires, wheels, engine parts, door jams, dash parts (seems like everything but the body of the car). I'm not really into using a tire dressing on our daily drivers, but I'd still like the clean look on the tires and wheels.

Is there anyone else that cleans their tires and wheels, but does not use a tire dressing? Or am I just a weird Autopian?:D

BLACK, with a low gloss satin shine, use Zaino Z16 tire dressing.

As for the wheels, in my opinion, using a cleaner like that with every wash is over kill. After they are clean, use a quality sealant on them and then you will find that car wash and a sponge will get them clean during every wash.

Olivher I want to let you know you are not alone. My daily driver pickup truck is often on construction sites. Whenever I dress the tires they become dust magnets. When I first brought up the cleaning without dressing I was almost laughed off of Autopia. :p

I did receive suggestions to buff off the dressing after applying it which was something I have done before. However I do like the look of dressed but not shiney tire so I recently tried using 303 then buffing the heck out of it after about an hour. The bummer is the 303 attracts dust too even after buffing. The tires looked great for a little while but as soon as I got the truck offroad they dusted up again.

So I'm going back to cleaning without dressing the tires. A product that I have found that works good for this is pictured below. I use the kind without bleach and I use it with a stiff bristled scrub brush.

Happy Birthday Angelo. I hope you have a wonderful day my friend :partaaay2:

I talked with Jack earlier. He said he wanted me to tell you to knock off at lunch and enjoy the rest of your day. No need to verify this, just head to your car in 30 minutes and turn off your cell phone ;)
