Zaino recommends large white towels. I tried using the MF's and it was kind of hard to get the polish off. Are the towels better for zaino? I let it dry over night and it is about 75 degrees where I'm at.

I've had better luck using cotton towels removing Zaino. The MF's seemed to drag while the cotton towels just glided across the vehicle's surface.

I only use 100% soft cotton towels. Removes Zaino without any problems or effort. Never tried MF's. No need and variation in quality does not allow me to trust them yet. Others love them.

If the Zaino stayed on all night and it is 75* there I do believe that you may have applied the Z too thick. I believe if the Z is applied very thinly even a short nap MF would not have any problems removing Z. JMO.

I originally used cotton towels and had no problems.



I have since switched to MF towels and have no problems either.



The sizes of the MFs does make you use more towels though.



Fold them into quarters and flip and refold to a clean section often. It takes about 3-4 MF towels to remove Z on my truck.

I use terry to remove and an MF for Z6.

I've found MF towels are slightly more difficult to remove waxes/zaino than cotton towels, but I've heard micro fiber are safer. As most cotton towels, even those that claim such, aren't really 100% cotton.

I’d say they are the same as far as ease of use. Cotton towels require more passes to remove the dried up Z, whereas microfiber towels don’t glide as easily… but you will need only one pass.



And FYI, I have found Fieldcrest Charismas to slightly marr the paint. I would stick with Egyptian or soft beach towels if you plan to only use cotton.

Flip the MF over to the non-plush side after ensuring that there is no dust or anything on the surface of the paint. This rougher side buffs faster than the soft side.



I usually still use the soft side and flip it over for tough spots.
