Happy Birthday Husker Z!

Some of you may know that my brother is in a up and coming band. Having just released their album, I noticed a song on in that just gave me the chills when I heard it, amongst the recent turn of events.

You cand read the lyrics and mp3.

Most of the world might not hear this song, originially written for a passed friend, but the imagery of the song is so applicable, that I made it available to everyone.

"Have the gray clouds cloak me, through the stormy haze...tell me when to cry."

here's the link, I hope you like it: http://yosteve.homestead.com/phuz.html

(if you're houston local, that's where they're at; check out their CD release party, www.phuz.com)

Happy birthday Husker. B-day so close to X-mas? I hope you don't get looked over, and get lots of cool detailing stuff.:happybday::happybday:

Thanks everyone, busy weekend here. My son turned 5 on Friday, so we had his party Saturday with 17 friends at a place with all these blowup slides and stuff, they had a blast and I am beat.

I did manage to give the leather in the R and the wife's car a nice conditioning today, but it's hopeless to try to get anything on the exterior clean right now. I'm just ready for it to get cold and keep everything frozen instead of this freeze/thaw crap where the roads are soaked constantly.

Thanks again guys!

Oh and the wife got me a 6 lap ride along NASCAR thing for this coming April, I'm really looking forward to it.

Happy Birthday Husker Z, glad to see you had a great time this weekend:happybday::happybday::happybday::

She's a keeper! Sounds like a blast!

I've pretty much guessed every gift I've ever gotten in the past and I was surprised with everything I got this year. I had no clue on the racing thing. My parents got me a cool plaque from the Chicago Marathon with my picture, my medal and my time engraved on it, it's super cool. They also had a xmas ornament hand painted with a picture of Norm, my Siberian Husky that I had to have put to sleep a month or so ago, which was very thoughtful and nice.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone, hope everyone has a great upcoming week. I work until noon on Thursday, then I'm done until 2010.
