Yes, they arrived early this week, my VIP lineup. :D


I will be performing a 3 stage detail on a black Mercedes C230 Kompressor later this week (black, stored outside, visible and prominant swirl marks)...we'll see how this triple combo will fair against the neglected Merc.

Are you planning to use MPPP in conjunction with NXT Wax or as a comparison on different panels?
 
Uh oh....i just realized that i received a wrong shipment of goods.

LOL! I ordered NXT-tech wax and Meg's Medallion PAINT CLEANER, not Premium Paint Protection, my invoice is correct....but i guess they fumbled the two during shipping.

I just chk'ed the price on the MPPP, and its almost $21, compared to the 10.99 price for the paint cleaner which i originally ordered.


Now the only question is what should i do?

Should i call Meg's and tell them they shipped me a wrong product, or just call and re-order the Medallion Paint cleaner and reap the benefits of the un-intentional shipment of MPPP?

That one is easy. Call them and tell them what happened.
Do the same thing you would want someone to do if you made the mistake.

Hehe Charles, i respect your ethical advice.

I will be contacting Meg's tomorrow to report the slight mis-hap, and i guess we'll just work from there. I actually needed the Premium Paint Cleaner by this thursday, so i dont know what i will do until then.

Im confident we'll work it out though.


On a side note, it was kinda fun realizing i had a product that i didnt actually order...kind of like an early christmas, only un-intentional.

I kinda figured that you meant to get MPPC instead. If that happened to me, I'd tell them about the mistake. They may let you keep the MPPP for free. :dunno
 
Go to Walmart or Autozone or Pepboys and get Meg's DC body Scrub or step 1 either one should work just as well as Medallion PC
 
BTW Charles - YOU are my hero :) - I wish everyone lived by the golden rule :) the world would be a much better place.
 
Just got off the phone with Meg's and explained to them the mix-up. They told me plain and simple that not only will i keep the MPPP which they inadvertantly sent me...they will ship the Medallion Paint Cleaner for FREE as a result of the confusion.


Now thats quality service baby!

Thats a good idea, i think the results for comparison will be easier to see b/c its a black car too.


Ill split the hood into 2 sections, and crank up my digicam to 5 megapixels, and then share the results with all of you.

Maybe that's one of the reasons they have been around for 100 years. (And no, I can't remember them from when they first started)
