Yes, Ron, I hope that your treatments with the new medicine will help you recover from your bout with cancer.
Are you a part of a clinical trial for this treatment???
I say that because yesterday we went to a funeral for my wife`s best friend`s son who was just 31 years old who passed away from cancer that started as melanoma and eventually progressed into his brain. Knew the kid, now a young man, and watched him grow up through the years, so it is VERY difficult on me and my wife to accept what has happened. His wish is that the new treatment he was participating in will lead to success for others. That`s just the kind of person he was. He was an avid fisherman here on the waters of Wisconsin, and muskies and walleyes where his fish of choice. He was shown at the funeral home in his fishing uniform and his boat was on display outside according to his wishes. I have a friend who took him to one of his treatments about 4 months before his passing and he had an allergic reaction the new medication. After the treatment, the friend offered to buy him lunch, as the treatments last about 4-5 hours. The young man`s reaction to the lunch request? "Screw that! You want to go fishing on Green Bay for walleye?" So onto the Bay they went and caught a few walleye. Nothing great in numbers, but my friend said, after going though that day what he went through, (and my friend loves fishing as well), why not go! The young man did what he loved, despite his not-so-great condition. As was stated at the funeral, "God just needed a great fisherman to run His fishing tournament in heaven." He truly has one of the best!!
