Hang in there ronkh !

Multiple prayers, Ron. We got your back and are pulling for you.

Good to see you getting out and enjoying meals in typical Ron fashion :)

Those pics give me the feeling that there is some sense of normalcy in what must be your very upside down world. ;) It’s really nice to see you posting these types of pics. Next the Vette wash pics.

Normalcy ?!?!?!?!? Upside down is a good descriptor.

I wish I had the energy to was something.

if all autopians pitched in a few bux I could get a ticket and come up there and take care of that vette :)

kidding, I wouldn`t ask autopians to pitch in.. .but I also have no vacation time until march if I want to go to DF next year

Wishing you the best, Ron!

We need for you to kick cancer to the moon!

Your victory over this will be a victory for all of us.

I am normally an easy stick (firehose veins) but she was being nice using super small needle (cuz I hate), and blew the vein.

I just wish some of my old students were around to explain "Ron`s rules on needles"................

I can handle shots in the arms and hips, even the big needle they stick in my belly to fill my pain pump doesn`t really bother me (still can`t look at the needle) but IV needles and catheters suck! Always my biggest fear when I go in for surgery, and like you I have fire hose veins. Unfortunately it`s a necessity to beat this thing. Hope things are going as well as they possibly can be. Prayers are with you.

Ron
I`m sure your aware that Autopia Forum site has large number of members and visitors, that lurk in the background and mostly observer (read) Threads. It`s apparent that your a main contributor to this site, in many forms be it Detailing knowledge and or the great photo`s of plates of food and deserts that you share with us. I also am sending you prayers and wishes that all passes behind you and tomorrow brings joy, again I say ( for the lurkers) most likely are more prayers being said for you then you may realize.

so you have stage 4 cancer, are undergoing chemo therapy, just finished radiation therapy, are physically drained and get winded just walking from room to room at home, what do you do now? when your friends offer to drive down to detail your rides, you are more concerned that they will have to make a two hour drive each way to do that and rather than inconvenience them, you get out there give your ride a wash and wipe down by yourself ( so what if you are exhausted and that takes you 3hrs) and you attend car shows on saturday and sunday. that`s what ronkh did this weekend. i did drive down to the gamble plantation car show in ellenton, fl. on sunday to see ron and to make sure he got a bbq sandwhich. he`s still pretty drained, but refuses to give up. i say he he gets at least three attaboys for this weekend. he`s very thankful for everyone`s responses and prayers. way to hang tough ron !!!

So..... As Steve said, it was time for me to try and start moving. Radiation & chemo have been kicking my butt, pretty much my schedule was sleep, chemo, radiation, sleep........ etc, etc. Ex for when Jen made me move. Even showering would leave me breathless sittin on the edge of tub to catch my breath after. Or breathing hard just going from room to room.

Now Steve has offered a few hundred times to come down and take care of the cars for me, but, he`s about 2 hours from me. So my comment has been," you`re not gonna drive for 2 hours, wash cars, and drive two hours home again."

So Sat there was a large car show that I wanted to give a shot, and Sunday a big big show and memorial for a friend that I sorta had to be at.

So literally after being able to wash one panel or less at a time..................

Then While I was at the show Sunday Jen and the girls cleaned up the garage for me !!!!!
