Handz Detailed: 2003 Cobra Headlight Restoration

I purchased these Headlights off a 2003 Cobra. They looked like they had a Brillo pad taken to the lenses.... So I decided to give the Set a nice Restoration.



3M Wet/Dry Sand Paper

-800 Grit

-1000 Grit

-1500 Grit

-2000 Grit



-3M Rubbing Compound w/Hexlogic Orange

-3M Machine Polish w/Hexlogic White

-CG Final Polish w/Hexlogic Blue



-Meguires #21

-CG Deep Reflections XP

I honestly have No Clue. I purchased them off Craigslist from a Cobra that had been in a Accident. I could till the car was ridden hard and put away wet :wow:

I polished my old set a few years ago and never clear coated them. They looked perfect until I swapped them out for the non chrome version a year and half later. And they went through a harsh Canadian winter with no ill effects.

Its like polishing your car then not putting a wax or sealant on top, its just not 100% protected.

He will be quite fine for some time if he just maintains them. Great job, looks killer.
