Those floors are easy to get looking new.....I usually spray them down with a degreaser...use some water and assorted scrub brushes, then wet vac it all up...let it dry..then hose it down with an armorall type product.

Hosing down a floor with Armorall has to make for a scary slippery drive for the driver.

Not really...I have been doing it the one I drive for years..The floor absorbs it for the most part..leaving it nice and dark black. Then after you are done with the rest of the detail (I do the interior first) you come do a wipe down of the floor to remove any excess. It might have alittle slickness to it, but nowhere near what you might think. And that slickness dissappears quickly....you just dont want to hose the pedals down in it..as they are a harder plastic..and dont take kindly to it..especially if your boots are wet!!

And I actually use OPP water based dressing on the floor..which takes away from the initial bit of slickness even more than when I was using armorall.

Man...just took a look at the pics one more time....looks like that front pass. side steer tire started out as an inner drive rim...due to the aluminum being in such bad shape and the mounting flange messed up and discolored like that..nice recovery there!! New axle caps on the back..so some new seals or driveline work was done.

One question...the frame looks outstanding!! And if you dont know trucks...the frame is a PITA to take care of and keep looking fresh...Petes have a bad habit of rusting at the huck rivets in as little a winter or two. Would love to know what was done to the frame to get it looking like that again.

Amazing work Eric!!!

I've done my share of "Big Rigs" back in the day, but we were never expected to bring them to the level you just did. Awesome work man! That's a lot of real-estate to cover and a lot of man hours to get it done! :goodjob

That is an amazing turnaround! :bow

Only semi I've done was an interior job, looked about as nasty as the one you posted. Good thing they have the vinyl floors and not carpet!
