i washed her with megs soft wash gel....god i love the smell of this stuff!..sorry no pics, but just imagine a scene of chaos with 4 hundred buckets and a little pain in the butt brother who "tried" to help!

right after claying the night before with megs quick clay, i poped molly into the garage...and then this morning i was greeted with this... which didnt look too bad

then i started to compound with megs 85# on a lake country yellow pad (didnt notice any micormarring at all by the way), afterwhich i caressed molly with megs speed glaze (love this product).

Then i decided to add some megs deep crystal polish (step 2) and then some megs show car glaze......happy with the finish so far...shame ive only done half the car!:wall:

well hopefully ill finish the car tomorrow and add a coat P21s.

heres some pics....ive got the order mixed up a bit but you'lll get the idea..i hope!

cant wait to get some proper pictures of the full car when im finished!:dance

happy xmas evryone...:spot

Looking good so far. Is that Interlagos Blue? It almost looked Estoril in a pic! Looking forward to the final pics, and Merry Christmas!

The car looks great! What kind of tires on on the rear? They look sticky... holding all those rocks and stuff to them.

Im curious though... why yellow pad and #85 to start? Thats a pretty hefty combo to start with and a car would have to be in seriously bad shape for me to go that route. It didnt seem to me like your car was in that kind of shape.

hi, thanks for the kind comments. Right the paintwork was quite badly swirled...speedglaze and DACP didnt touch the swirls at all hence i eventually tried megs #85 which really did some great work!

Meg's Deep Crystal System I highly over looked. The polish is amazing for the money as well as the wax that comes with it. I too like #85. The oils just make the paint drip. You are doing so well on that blue!

More PICS!

I would have to say, that seeing the condition your car was in and it is now in, I would choose a diff. lsp. P21s has never been great for durability and you seem like you need something durable. You use alot of megs stuff, so try #21, I love mine. Would hold up through the winter.
