We are finally going back to the playoffs. It's about damn time. :yay :yay :yay

Yeah, too bad those guys have to come down to Ray Jay and get sent home by the hard rockin, NFC South Champion Tampa Bay Bucs!

Since the Pats have won three out of the last four Superbowls it's hard for me to relate to being excited over simply getting into the playoffs. I guess we're just spoiled up here in New England.

skins have only been to the playoffs once since 1992....so this playoff thing is unheard of for redskins fans

Well, the Pats scored the first points off a drop kick since the early 1940's today. I'm sure it will be on Sportscenter if you're curious what I'm talking about.

We're going to the SuperBowl Baby!!! Bringing home the Ring. HAHAHAHA

:chair: This is how Tampa is going to feel, Sorry Fuzz

Hmmmm.... Me thinks that Manning and Company will be the champions this time around.

Playoffs and the Bowl should be great this year.

I would have hoped that Peyton Manning going down in flames the last few years in the playoffs against the Pats would have shown you guys that it takes a team to win the Superbowl not one or two superstars. :beer_smil

Ouch! It's a bit different this year, though. In all but a couple categories, the Colts Offensive and Defensive Team stats are rated pretty high, and in almost all they are higher than the Pat's.

This year the Colts have really played well as a team, and I think they are genuine. However, it's playoff time and just about anything can happen. (please don't ask me who I think would win if the Colts and Pat's meet up in the playoffs  )

Definitely the Colts look like a better team this year than any other year. Also, the Pats have broken the record (which they also broke last year) for most different starters used by a playoff team. Frankly, the Pats are so banged up two months ago I didn't even think they would make the playoffs. This is what's so great about football. You never know who will win.

Have y'all failed to notice that my car is the Redskins' colors? "Burgundy" (dark red), with a gold stripe? 'Nuff said.

crobinso, what the heck was happening in your neck of the woods this morning, I heard there was a hostage situation.

Surprised the heck out of me. A Library of Congress cop allegedly beat his wife, then held police at bay until he finally gave up. EDIT: News sources say his wife showed up at an area hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound. It happened in the most exclusive subdivision in our town, Farmington Woods, a gated community.

(Sidebar: Years ago, my wife and I tried to buy a house there. The saleslady was certain that we could not afford the $400,000+ homes, and recommended that we start out in a townhouse. A couple of years later, we bought a $300,000 home nearby, new from the ground up, that had more features.)

By the time I drove by the community on my way to work, it was all over. I guess even people in glass houses have stones to throw, or something like that...

Wow! Real estate prices are a lot more reasonable in MD than they are in MA. I think $400K would buy you a 1,000 sq. ft. condo here. It would be REALLY difficult to get into a house at that price here especially a nice one in a nice neighborhood.
