Guys...i've got a problem....

I have a suspicion that my girlfriend is cheating on me. The usual signs: phone calls from people who hang up when I suddenly enter, suddenly hanging out "with friends", when I asked who the friends are she says "they were people from my work, you don't know them" .

So I decided to go on a lookout for her taxi, but she always comes up the driveway before I hear a car. As if she asked the driver to stop on the corner. Why? Isn't it a taxi?

When I once grabbed her cell phone to see what time it is, she went completely crazy and said that I'm not allowed to touch it again and asked me why I checked.

I have never discussed this issue with her, maybe because I don't want to know the truth. Until last night, when she again went out with "friends" and I decided to wait.

I was hiding behind the car so I could see the whole street, and could see if it was a taxi that dropped her off or perhaps another car. As I was hidding behind my car I saw that a small number rust bubbles was starting to pop up.

I would like to stop these before they increase. Now I have the color of my car and searched some color marker with the right color and bought it from the local auto parts store.

Now it seems to me that I should sand the rust off and that there is some kind of coating I should put on it which would ensure it not to rust again, and then do the paintjob after it.

Am I right? And maybe somebody knows what I should use? The people at the auto parts store are clueless.

Talk about throwing me for a loop...

Haha, exactly what I was thinking. Not to poke fun at your situation, but if this is an attempt to be light about it, it's a great idea to get your mind off some things.

Made me think of something like this...

My father was just diagnosed with lung cancer. He's been a smoker for 50 years and his health has been degrading severely the last year or so. They don't give him more than 6 months to live.

I just took him to the hospital for a chemotherapy treatment and they bumped the wheelchair into my car door. The scratch doesn't look too bad but I think it's through the paint. How hard would this be to fix? Are there any precautions I should take in the meantime before I have to go back to the hospital to pick him up?

:nervous2:

Todd,

My advice? Blow off the scratch repair and spend the extra time with your Dad. I lost mine last year, so I know of what I speak. He was crippled with Parkinson's disease... could barely move. One of our last conversations was about him buying a new Challenger when he "got out" of the hospital. I wouldn't trade those few hours for anything.

Best wishes to you, your father and your family.

Regards,

Jay

wow, thats not cool. I remember talking with an old man at a bar in the Seattle airport while on my way to Alabama. We talked about all kinds of stuff and seen a guy who was obviously married talking with a woman about going back to his hotel. The old man was disgusted and said, "It doesnt matter where you get your apetite, as long as you eat at home" I dont know if he got it from someone else but I thought it was interesting.

LOL guys, it's a joke. it's supposed to be funny because obviously women mean very much to us, but our cars mean more (figuratively speaking) :grinno:

i should have known you guys would take it seriously. we're an OCD bunch ;)
