I ordered a can of OG Blitz Wax from autosupermart.com and they sent me an email asking me to send a good quality photo copy of my credit card... LOL ... sure! what else? a copy of my SSN and birth certificate maybe?



I've doing e-shopping for years now and this is the first time someone asks to do something insane like that.
 
Thats insane! Well... actually, I'm not surprised. What else can you expect from a company that censors the words "Klasse" or "Zaino" on their own forums?

Yeah, that IS crazy! FWIW, I've ordered Blitz, among other things, from www.motorhead.net and their prices/shipping rates are several bucks cheaper. The product is always in mint condition and shipping is fast. What more could you want! I highly recommend them...

I could understand asking for something like that if you were ordering $1000 computer but a $20 can of wax is overkill.

I did order my BF / Clay / applicators from CMA but I did not see them carrying Blitz and I specifically like to try that wax.
 
Autosupermart..hmmmm. Well I ordered once from them once, they were very prompt..in charging my CC! Shipping, well that took a few emails to make that happen. After that for some reason a good amount of thier spam email remove requests were directed to my email address, it was funny for a while but after a week of full mailboxes of pissed off people it..umm wasn't so funny...



Then I found you guys!

I cant believe they are still in business. I havent heard of anyone giving them repeat business. Sooner or later I guess they'll run out of new customers.
 
I guess I am one of the few that didnt have a bad experience with autosupermart.com

I ordered from them on sunday and received my order yesterday(wednesday) in perfect condition.

Not sure if that was a fluke or anything, but their service seemed fine to me.

I bought $1300 worth of computer hardware from Newegg.com and they didn't ask for anything.
 
I got an email saying the wax was shipped today, and I did not send them anything of what they were asking for, the userid was different than the one asking me to send the copy of my credit card.



I guess they have someone trying to make some extra money ...



Too bad I deleted the previous emails.

I think I would email them back or call them and tell them anyways.

I wish I said it earlier. I was thinking it was kinda strange that you would have to send a photocopy of your credit card and not something like your drivers license.

I am going to be in Mexico City in June. Do you have anything that you want me to bring down for you? Woudl it save money to ship it from Mexico City to Guadalajara, or is it too much trouble for too little benefit?
