Antera Opus 1's were in my early sets so you wont hear any hating from me.;)

yeah the ls1 is better :grinno: but jake was talkin about the sound of the new ones

wish the fbodys were still around they probably would be getting the ls2s and ls7s
 
I've been finding myself considering a GTO more & more... ever since I drove one at the GM AutoShow in Motion last month. That exhaust note is intoxicating. Interior is nicely done. No denying you feel the size of the car while driving it but, like the original, seems like it would be a better cruiser than a canyon carver.



Just wish they'd make a convertible or add a sunroof... gotta let that California sunshine in! That's the one issue that would keep me in my mustang GT convertible.



Sweet ride tho... wheels are sharp... very stealthy. I sure wouldn't have the ambition to keep a black car like that. I'd go crazy trying to keep it clean... too much dust around...

Stockers are BFG KDWS. I have those and they are pretty damn sticky. Tire racks survey thing shows 712s as a 8.4 rating in dry traction and KDWSs are 8.6 and better in every other way.
 
I'd have to agree on all counts: Car looks great (gotta love black on black on black on ....). But be prepared for those (very noisy) E712's to give up the ghost soon (I had to stretch to get them to last 18k on a Focus with only the occasional twisty to get excited about) - I pity your poor treads!
 
Love those Thruxtons. I'm considering some for my car, or maybe some ROH Drift-R's. Not sure yet. Or Beyern 5's. Hmm....

I was also looking at the ROH Drift R's. They are on backorder though. I was able to piece together a set of the thruxtons so I went with them.
 
Nice.

A warnign about that illegal tint. If you get into a wreck insurance could easily deny your claim and the person you hit could easily have a very good law suite.
