hey guys i have been working on my friends 2005 gto. its a metallic black. and its in bad shape. i havnt been able to find anything that i have to get the swrils out.:hairpull so far have used menzerna sip with lake country green ccs pad. and orange pad. with rotary megs swril free polish which i know is probbaly a filler.:waxing: the only thing that is really helping is 3m ultrafina with 3m black cutting pad. so i thought id consult the board. any help would be great:work:

If sip/orange isn't doing anything, I'd move up to a few 105 combos. I've done some neglected grand ams and grand prixs that had very tough clears. Most required a pass of 105/orange to relevel. And Keep the ultrafina on a blue 3m/lc pad.

I would like to know as well.

I Have a 2006 GTO (dark Red) that i will be starting to correct as soon as my supplies get here. However i am going to give another product line a shot.

Im also in Colorado. Whats the owners name i most likely know him.

LOL yep i know Sean. I helped him fix his shifter when he first bought the car.

I am Dunncsu over on Coloradolsx as well.

i wasnt having to much trouble with the half of his car cus it was repainted from some vandals then i got to the factory paint and.. well shoot.

Wasn't most of the passenger side of his car repainted from his wreck?

I have had good luck with some stuff i have at home. As soon as i get home tonight i will look and see what it is. Mind you i am new to all of this so it may not be the best product but it seems to get out deep scratches really well.

yeah the front bumper was repainted the driver door and the driver rear quarterpanel. and i dont know for sure if the driver front quarterpanel was. but yeah let me know what it is. hope you have a good one.

Well I'm not sure about the cut of a 3m black pad but you said "cutting" in your original post so I was just making sure you were using uf with a pad with little to no mechanical ability.
