GT4... Who got it?

LightningSVT,

I use the controller. My quest to get to the iA license was hard. There were some tests that took me 5 or 6 tries to get a bronze with. Some tips would be to be really smooth and use all of the racetrack. For front wheel drive cars, arc the car on the outside of the turn before you turn and cut into it late. The front drivers slow way down when you steer, so this makes the turn straighter. Other than that, just practice and you'll get it.

Good luck!

Man, I dont know how you guys do it? Im having a hard time finishing my IB license in GT4. Are you using a wheel or the controller/ I have the cotroller and just cant seem to find a way to impart any precision in controlling the cars. Also, is there a way to turn the damn ghost car off in the licensing modes?

turn off the ghost car pressing up on the directional pad not the analog stick.....that is how you turn it on to.....i almost got the super license but that damn rally race ...not fair the rally should be seperate:sosad

i also used a controller and have passed IB and IA licenses. practice seems the best way, and sometimes luck too. watching the demo sometimes helps, but some times i've found myself trying to copy the demo too much and messing up my own "rythme" and feel to making the car drive the way i want it to.

but yeah, trying the tests over and over will help you get a feel for how that particular car will handle on that particular course and how you should drive it.

and thankfully as long as you pass the license tests you get a vehicle, unlike before where you needed to have all golds to get a car. :xyxthumbs

:rofl I'm still at 0.0% and don't have my IB license yet. I haven't really been spending much time on it with all the work recently.

well i almost got my s license...a few more..funny thing is i raced my friend and i always used automatic..:D he called me a sissy and so now i use manual and thus am relearning...i knew enough to beat him with stick:sosad ive been spending alot of time on mvp baseball 2005 for the computer which is awesome...factor that in with weather getting warm, i just got a detailing supplies order, and we have a megiuars meet next month so i have to get my car ready and i dont have enough time:( but guys....you have to play in manual...you will enjoy it soooo much more:bow :bow
