So, for 2$ detailing product to be praised this 'much' I couldn't not get one eventually.
So, after an ONR wash with the GS I was highly hesitant about it's qualities because of a particular behavior of the medium. I have been washing with microfiber for about 8 months (when I became Autopian) and the MF just glides over paint with ONR. Even the un-clayed sand/salt attack areas behind my front wheels and rear wheels don't feel to 'gritty'.
However, when I run the GS over these area's it sends waves of audiophonic cringing fear through my body :nervous2: . The Sponge sounds like it is being run over some sort of 300 grit spotty sand paper. Making the horrible 'this panel needs clay something awful' sound.
This being winter and my first full wash in (ACK! 8 weeks) I couldn't help but think that the GS was doing some serious damage. However, with so few reports of marraing/damage, I am wondering if this is an expected GS behavior?
Please help me here, I don't want to be marring the car to hell, just to correct even more damage in two months when it finally warms up.
