Grumpy finally figured out how to post pics of his cars, etc-YEAH!

That was shared with me last night, Jon.

I am a stubborn old fart, and when I find the time between stripping and primering and painting and repairing some major rust damage on a buddy's van, and it has to be at least two days of rain, I will learn to do it.

I am one that would rather get my hands dirty, be able to look back at, and for a long time after, what I accomplished, rather than doing something on the net that last 30 sec to a day.

A bit of fun work, relearning things I knew and did, is to me, much more enjoyable, knowing that the things I do are not that, which many talk about, but few can do.

Just me.

If I was born 20+ years later I may have become a computer geek, but when I see young fighter pilots with 'fly by wire' systems I'm so glad I wasn't

I’m not good at computer stuff either so I asked my granddaughter to show me how to post pictures to a forum.

1. Log on to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

2. Select Upload

3. Go to your MS My Pictures file

4. Open the photo you want to upload

5. Photo bucket will show a box Share|Edit|Delete|Move

6. Select IMG code
......................

7. Paste the code to a forum post

After a few tries I got it to work...good luck

I'll keep trying but so far it says I have a album but than it will say there are no pictures in the album.

That's some nice memorabilia Ron. Did you actually own the Cobra? If so, you gotta be kicking yourself for selling it? Ever follow it after selling it?

Sorry, thought I had replied to you.

Oh, yeah, if I could kick my own butt it would gone, gone, gone.

I had two 427 Cobra's back then, the one in the pic, a 427Sc and blue 427 street Cobra.

Sold both of them in 71/72 as we were moving to KC and the wife picked out a house that was pretty pricey.

That and the fact that the Vette's could use new stuff in A/P and the Cobra couldn't, we were getting our butt's kicked on the track.

Oh well, such is life!

You're blessed to have not only driven one, but own 2! How was the SC different from the standard ones? Sound extra rare?

Race version, even had a signed certificate from Ken Miles of his test laps before it was released to be sold taped to the roll bar inside the trunk.

Brakes were a bit more, the engines were blueprinted, ported, beyond the normal 427, things like that.
