Griots has officially jumped the shark

How are the long reach wheel cleaner and the green 4 finger pads?

Those long-reach wheel things seem OK, but I don't use 'em on really nice wheels.

The green foam wheel mitts are OK and I keep them around. But I *REALLY* like their little sheepskin mitt for wheels (pn 10209). I didn't expect to like it much, but once I tried it I was hooked.

I consider their BHBs for wheels to be indispensable, never wash without one of those.

They have a great deal on Amazon for the 35oz wheel cleaner with spray, long reach thing and 2 four finger mitts AND yellow scrubber for 19.99 that's why I was asking

ndtechie05- Sounds like a good enough deal, I'd go for it. I'd still look into the BHB for wheels and the little sheepskin mitt too, but it's easy for me to spend your money ;)

I finally went to my local Advanced Auto and am delighted Griots stuff is there. Im especially happy gallon sizes of Speed Shine are there , as well as good MFs and wheel cleaning tools. Saving a little if there's no more free shipping does help.

:think: I live in the largest city in KY, yet the closest AAP that has it is 40 miles away. I did not see any in Lexington either, none in the 2 largest metro areas in hillbilly land.

Cross the river into New Albany, Indiana. According to the website, they carry Griot's.

Watch for reported warranty issues with the GG polisher if you kill more then a few of them. All the excuses start coming out, "not intended for pros, no intended for more then a few hours of use a day."

Also Advance has some decent coupons for online orders with a store pickup. $10 off $50 is common, sometimes $20 off $50.

This is so true....................I have two working models on me at all times, the first gen machines lasted longer and I had one that was three months old recently just burn up and I never use the machine at speed six.

This is what happens when stuff is made with the "Cheapness" in China, I would pay 20% more for a better machine that performed and lasted. My DeWalt rotary has NEVER broke down since the 90's.

I hear ya on the DeWalt! The bodyshop I use to do work for had 2 rotaries, a DeWalt and a Makita. The Dewalt was older, but still felt, ran and sounded like day 1, the Makita sounded like it was about to puke a bearing!

Picked up a couple bottles of the car wash yesturday. It smells really good and has markings on the side to measure the right amount of soultion. Does not get as sudsy as my Megs GoldClass but it does feel REALLY slick when on the car.

Just got 2 waffle weave from AA for 33 using a coupon online and pick up in store. Pretty amazing deal of ya ask me considering they are normally 27 each
