Griot's Garage question

I recently scored some Best of Show wax and was wondering if anyone had any reviews on it. I'm usually a Meg's gold class user, but I always was curious about the Griot's. Thanks.:D

When I bought my two R/O I got the polishes and best of show wax with it. Tried it out and was not really impressed, the beading wasn't there as well as the depth and gloss. Personally I don't like liquid waxes so i kinda had a negative mindset from the get go.

Did you buy the starter kit? If so the book they give you is a great tool to have. Touches on everything

Like the above post I've tried it several times. My impessions are mixed. The shine was good but the vehicle was polished really good before Best in Show was applied. The bead of water was good but it did not last as long as other products. If the base is good and polished then about any wax will look good. It's made more as a LSP and doesn't have alot of cleaning abilities. Apply it really thin and use more than one coat. I looks good but not my favorite wax.

Best in Show wax sucks on white cars. Maybe it looks good on other colors, but I have no idea why griots hypes it so much when I've heard that their paste wax is much better.

That's weird, I found it's the best one I've used so far for white. It is kindof a pain to remove, but it goes on relatively easy and the shine is real nice.

I used Griot's products for years, but have recently switched to others. Best of Show wax needs to be put on thin. If placed on too heavy, it makes it hard to remove, but if you spray with Speed Shine or Spray on Wax it will come right off. I agree with the others. There is better product out there.

I'm a fan of Griots (Their store is just down the road a bit from me) except their BoS. I do like their One Step and paste wax.
