griots DA brush replacements

anyone know where I can get more brushes to try and fix the dead DA I have in my garage? I tried asking the griots personnel, but the guy said they dont sell the brushes (they give you an extra in the box, so they do have them) and that I have to send the polisher in and wait about two weeks to get it back. I would rather try to fix it first, but dont have the spare brushes.
 
I assume, I know that makes an *** outta you and me, that your talking about the motor brushes? I found some on ebay for my Porter Cable, but so far my Griots are holding up fine. When you find a source let me know. Getting to the ones on the PC are a bit of a hassle I know. How about contacting Jason Killmer at Polished Image detailing.......I'm pretty sure he has connections with Griots.

I have no idea!!!! They give you some extra with each polisher you buy, but cant sell them separately????? I'd pay $15 bucks for them so that I can get this machine back up and running instead of using the PCXP I am now!!!



on that note, I need about 5 sets of PCXP brushes as well for the 5 dead ones I have in my drawer...
 
A couple of weeks ago I added a griots 6" DA polisher w/25' cord to my arsenal, anyway I didn't see any extras in the box?
 
really, that sucks! I have gone through 6 or 7 machines and have had to always send them in...they just die while in use.



My friends did the same thing and he replaced the brushes and it worked again just fine. So before I send this on (other one is going back for a loose backing plate attachment spindle), I want to try some new brushes and see if it works!



Luckily there is another detail here by me sending me some...
